karla ellen.
So, you'd THINK I had a little time to blog while my family was here but... no. Turns out they like it when "I" hold the baby when he's crying etc. lol. Oh well, we did get Evan's room painted! I also decided with my mom's help to do a two toned room. One wall is a brown color, the other three are the gray/blue color. Since I'm too impatient, I'll post one of the wall with a quote on it but later when it's sunny, I'll take and post better ones and the video I shot before and 'after' (though it isn't finished yet). Let me just say though that I L O V E the colors! I also put drapes in there and they do look great I must say, you'll be the judge...

When I finish this blog (in the next week?) about the room, including drapes etc, I will also blog about the much anticipated BABY SHOWER/OPEN HOUSE we finally had on Friday! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED. Lindsey, please give me a list of everyone who did so I can thank them for that please. We had a wonderful time and only wish we got to spent more individual time with everyone. I look forward to telling you more about it. Thank you for coming, we enjoyed everyone.

From what it seems from here the room looks great. Sounds like your mom has come in handy having her around.
Sorry we missed the shower-my kids had things we couldn't miss. Can't wait to hear about it though.
Love the quote! How did you do that? The colors look great too! So creative!
Geez my girlfriend is cute. Cool kid too and nice job on the room.
You are a freak, Your poor kid is your baby doll puppet. lol
When I am there I am going to be better than mom and ash combined! You'll wish I lived next door ;) then again...you probably wouldn't ever see your baby again either.....
katie; it's (i'm ashamed to say) vinal (sp?) lettering quote that i got from kohls on clearance. i believe it's meant for a living room or something but i wanted it above my sons crib cause he is a miracle. im really so proud of it and how the whole room is coming together....
jenalyn; you're right.
I love the quote on the wall! Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the shower - I had Mommy duties to fulfill..see you soon
I love him! The picture of him with Ash is CLASSIC! I LOVE his expression and his old man hair! LOL and the one with him and the drill is AWESOME! Great facial expression again! The kid's a natural actor! Maybe you'll be moving back to CA to pursue his career! :-)
