last sunday at church, having a snack during sacrament meeting.

My contant view lately. He's always climbing up on us, requesting to be held (closest thing I get to cuddling from my little 'wild cat').

First 'boo boo' (a cut) from I think our metal trash can? I'm a great mom. lol. He was crawling all over while I was cleaning or doing laundry no doubt (as if!) and he was getting cranky so I put him in his bed for a nap. He was totally mad at that so when I went in to see what his major malfunction was, he was bleeding everywhere! I felt really bad but it was just some cuts on his pinky finger that washed up easily and didn't look bad till the scab showed up! THEN it looked horrible (poor liz probably documented it for cps). Anyway, this bandaid was a total annoyance to Evan and it didn't stay on long unfortunately.

Watching daddy mow and wishing he could be helping. If mommie knew how to drive the mower, she'd take Evan. Daddy = boring/cautious. Mommy = daredevil/cool. (my blog, my words :D)

Our kids big boy seat and facing forward. He didn't mind facing backwards but his feet were too long. Here he is in one of his favorite activities, tucking something (moms hair, blankets, clothes he's wearing etc) between his plug and his face while using the plug (pacifier).
Ok, I should really have pictures of the "Signs" since it's the title of the post but Evan is asleep. When he wakes up in the a.m., I will attempt to document that the kid is finally trying and wanting to tell us stuff! ;)
First of all, he DOES Patty Cake. awesome.
otherwise there are the following "Sign's":
'More' or as he says "ag-geh!" (again)
Then there is 'All Done' portrayed by holding his chubby hands out and moving his wrists (like jazz hands)
Next is 'Eat' where he puts his index finger in his mouth purposefully
Last but not least is 'Ouwe' (sp? like 'ouch' but without the 'ch') where he hits himself on the head multiple times while mommy and daddy call 'Ouwe', over and over. lol
The cherry on top? Evan's first words, that he understands, are.......
"Uh Ohhh"
and there is nothing better than when he is playing by himself in the other room and hears you say "Uh oh", he calls back to you, all the while maintaining his task of playing. LOL. ;) There will attempts at capturing this for video. he he he

love the pictures and the signs / words. so cute. cru loves to say uh oh. it's quite cute. and now he says "up" but we can't quite figure out if it's supposed to be "up" or "hot" pronounced "otp". so cute though!
