my friend cherilyn suggested to take a picture with his stuffed animal and i chose his alligator. it is the first one we bought him and i love it. we'll take a picture of him every month. unfortunately we don't have one of him at birth with it but this will be fun.

How is it that this could be the time for our sweet little son to be ONE MONTH old?! Every Parent has uddered these words and it is our turn. Even in his first week, I was getting genuinly upset because of all the changes I was noticing. Thankfully, everyone who see's him still mentiones how little he is. That makes me feel better to live in denial that he will always be my baby infant (though there is so much more to look forward to as he grows...). Here is a video as our attempt to share with you how big and strong and alert our baby is...
For his One Month day, we began by cuddling in my bed till Cousin Liam and Aunt Jenalyn came to play.

the video of liam and evan is so funny! i love it! evan still looks so little. my little man would crush him. he's 3 weeks today and he's almost 10lb! how did i get such a monster!!?!?

Every single month he turns, you're going to wonder where the time went. Just get ready. It goes faster than it ever should. Seems almost unfair. But then one day, all on his own with no warning, he'll wrap his arms around your neck and say "I love you mom" and the time passing won't be so hard.
He is such a handsome boy! Happy One Month Evan!

hhahaa, Carly's "monster" comment. I wanted to say that little black and white video of Evan just like, sighing at the camera was so cute. And duh I love the other one, but I already commented on that on Fbook.
I saw this idea in a book and my sister tried it and it was great--Every month of Evan's first year, put him on the couch with the same stuffed animal (his alligator?) and you will have a reference point on how fast he is growing! At the end of the year it is a great way to compare each month.
