Don't mess with my Sippy Cup,Neeeeew Haircut, Preds game and Messes.

This says to me: Don't come between a man and his sippy cup. ;)

So I didn't just trim Evan this time. He now has a bonafied little boys haircut. I cannot believe I just trimmed it a month ago and it was already a big mop. Something in the landfill water? (he he he). Then we have the Predators v. Red Wings game we attended last Saturday with Aunt Nanci and Uncle Matt. We heading up to our seats in top deck when a Preds Rep stopped us to give us tickets 2 rows behind the Red Wings! oh, on center ice! (we still like our tickets better for seeing the whole rink). We had a blast down there so close and Evan was completely mesmerized by the jumbo tron (of which he appeared again but we didn't get a picture :( boo). Lastly, I often leave Evan to explore by himself, this time in the kitchen (he's walking 70% of the time now fyi). There was only laundry in there and he was 'playing' with a 'secure' q-tip holder (i know, my husband is CRINGING right now with you, that I'm typing this). I was of course conducting official fb business or something important like that when I realized, something was wrong... SILENCE. I took the 10 steps to the kitchen to find... THIS:

100th Post!

The last Winter storm before Spring (likely).

It SNOWED today! I was so happy that we finally got snow on a day I could actually enjoy it! I usually have to work the day's it's snowed really well here in Tennessee. So, it was enough that with our minimal snow accumulation in TN, we aren't prepared for caring for the roads = church was cancelled for us this morning. As much as I would have liked to go to church I was shamefully excited because this meant I'd get to make my first snowman in all of my 35 years! Seriously, I've never made one before even when I lived in Provo Utah for 1 1/2 years. So here it is...

more pictures:

Predators vs. Chicago Black Hawks this past Tuesday night. Matt and Michael got to sit with a friend in really good seats with perks (food) so our TN nieces got to come with Nanci, Evan and I in our regular season ticket seats. We are bummed we weren't at the game Saturday night when we 'killed' the Detroit Red Wings 8-0!

We're finally using our High Chair we bought at IKEA 4 1/2 months ago! Obviously Evan loves it and is displaying his newest adventure: eating rice cereal. Last week, he tried Bananas and pictured is Carrots he tried last night for the first time. He likes them both but really, I mix them with the cereal that I know he already likes so to get him used to it. Eventually I'll give them to him straight. This week I'll introduce a new fruit then a new Vegitable. I'm thinking either Prunes or Pears and the vegi, Green beans. So exciting experimenting with your kid! lol. Also, for your pleasure, you can see, he enjoys eating as many fingers as will fit in his mouth. ;) This causes many smiles from us and drool from him as he's 'teething'. I don't see or feel any teeth yet and don't anticipate any for a couple more months but still, he's definately chewing to bring them in. I'm pretty sure I won't be putting my fingers in his mouth when he does, without a little prayer first. :) Ouch! That can hurt

Finally... Bath Time! He loves it! Here he is in one of his 3rd most favorite place, a tub of water! (third after his bouncer and exerciser)He only gets a couple inches but he loves to splash splash splash in it! Also pictured is his favorite Pirate rubber ducky that tells if the water is too hot but Evan loves to stare at it. :) Thanks again Melody!

let's go predators!

Our cute family.

Our friend Holly who is a Predators Dancer. She is beautiful AND talented! :)

With Uncle Matt and Aunt Nanci at the Predators Game (we WON!). I dressed Evan in his miraculously still fitting Alligator/Lizard outfit that is a personal favorite if you didn't know. ;) This was the first time Evan had a hard time with the noise. As he gets older he can't sleep through 'anything' anymore so... I guess so for his next 2 games, he will likely have headphones on like they have at a shooting range. His bib say's "Little Heartbreaker".

I'm Famous, I'm Famous!!!

Nashville Predators vs. Minnisota Wild (booo!!!!)
Evans' first National Hockey League game with the greatest team on Earth! The Nashvilllllllle Predators! Let's just say, it WON'T be his last game...
This is my friend Holly, she is a Predators Dancer who is kind and beautiful. I used to work with her at Tangerine but we now both work elsewhere. Luckily we've kept a friendship. We were sooo happy we got to see her! Always a treat. Can't wait to see you next time Holly (evan thought you were really cute ;) lol)!

pooped.
enjoying the view...
Proud father.
"Daddy? Why don't we come here Every day?"
A family in the right place. Go Preds!

So we went as a family to the Nashville Predators Game and guess who got on the "Jumbo Tron" for being soooo cute!? Michael even took a picture of the video guy filming Evan and I. He got me a moment too late from looking into the camera apparently. It was fun as always. Evan was of COURSE a Hit! Everyone loved him around us and he was very good, didn't even care about all the cheering and noises. We'll be back Preds. Thank you Uncle Matt for the Supercool Predators outfit, pretty soon, it'll fit into it perfectly. ;) Thank you Walmart for the Santa Hat accessory.
p.s. Preds won, One to Zero.
