This is Courtney, Evan's birth mom. I came across this picture on her myspace from last summer working with a friend painting porch rails. She's really happy that she had lost her baby weight from having Evan, she'd colored her hair coppery red (you know i love that!) and is just looking cute like Evan. I just had to post how well she is doing. In our last conversation a month or so ago, she was on her way to earning her G.E.D, had plans to attend college and was looking for a new job (is now working at McDonald's. way to go!). I am again, so impressed that a girl who grew up too fast, teaching herself about life, still knows what to do with her life, even if it's taking her longer than she wants and even when there are 'bumps' in the road to her dreams and goals, she has for the most part taken care of the obstacles responsibly. I am so proud of her. We love you Courtney, keep up the good work!

I think she looks great here. She looks happy and strong. We still pray for her every day. We appreciate her and it's very good to see her. Thanks for the post. Love you all. Mom
I am so glad she is moving onward and upward and continuing to do well. How blessed you are to be able to have contact with her.
