Serif and Sharing...

This is mine and Evan's friend Serif who is 16 days younger than him. I went through my client Jeff's, wife Michelle's whole pregnancy with him only to jump in the end with my own baby Evan being born at the end of their wait! Also, when we got back from Atlanta with Evan, (he was only a week or two old when) I told Jeff I'd like him to come in even though the shop was closed, to get a haircut since I knew he'd need to look good for when Michelle went into labor. :) lol I'm so thoughtful... Anyway, I made a very inexperienced future dad hold Evan when he and Michelle came in! I know he secretly wanted to and I had to practically throw him into trying to hold a baby. :) I think that helped Jeff and Michelle get even MORE excited for their baby to come faster! :) He was born within the week of that appointment. he he.

Sharing: Since Serif had not yet experienced a bouncy seat, it was only fair that Evan would invite him to try his out! Pretty sure Serif will have one soon... there was a glimmer in his eye, I tell you. :) He is so cute in it! So glad the boys got to have a playdate during our hair appointment. Can't wait to see how the boys look together the next time we see you! :)

going outside on a sunny sunday afternoon... for grandma karla's birthday. this was evan's first time spending time outside since it has been freezing cold and snowing most of his life so far. he reeeeaaaaaly liked it (after his eyes adjusted). he cannot wait to have more sun time. i hope he'll be a water baby this summer, liz and H and i are planning already. :)

i don't know if i mentioned... but mike and i fall more in love with evan every day. we are amazed that his 3rd month has gone by soo fast! valentines day he will have been born, 4 months ago and that is just insane to me. I'm looking forward to his 4 month post so stay tuned. we will be celebrating it by going to a predators game. he will be a hit there as usual. ;)

The Birthday Bounce

After food and nap, Evan was ready to bounce Bounce BOUNCE for my birthday! lol. You can see how big he's getting but still needs his stuffing. lol.

It's a very Greenway Birthday!

So, my 35th Birthday is this Saturday, February 7th (i know i'm too young to be so 'old' ;) hahaha). To celebrate, if it doesn't rain, I'd like to go to the local Greenway with Evan & lots of friends to celebrate. I will be at the Thompson Lane entrance at 10am ready for a leisure stroll. I'll have my camera to capture anything interesting & do not want anyone to think by any means is this 'exercise' (though you all are welcome to do so). I am known to be a fast 'stroll-er' though to be fair. ;). Anyway, Everyone that wants to is invited that would like to come. I hope to see you there. Michael will be in Paducah KY all day helping families effected by the recent ice storms so if you're husband is there too, this is a great way to pass the time with the kids. Weather is supposed to be 'nice' that day so come get some fresh air :). I plan to walk to the kids park by the dog park (4 miles?) and back. I'm TOTALLY looking forward to it! ;) xoxoxo

Happy Tuesday!

This is what you get when you combine the following:

baby wakes up, feed the baby, clothe the baby in a new outfit from grandma he hasn't worn yet (it had a bear on the butt), swaddle the baby & try to get him to sleep, get ready for work, kiss the baby, change a #2 diaper, change another immediately after when he does it AGAIN! then he #1's all over himself and changing table, #2's and #1's AGAIN!!! I kid you NOT people.

So.... clean him up, throw clothes and changing table covers in laundry, put on NEW, new clothes from Pat Neely (soooooooo cute!!!!) and ta-da! Instant cute baby picture!

Here are Evans 3 month pictures taken by Shannon Hairr Photography. They turned out great. It's not even a picture of his face and this first one displayed is my favorite. Michaels hands look strong and delicate at the same time to hold those precious feet. I feel so blessed. I hope you enjoy these, we do!
