Deja Vu?

I bought this Lizard outfit at Crazy 8 for Evan when he was a baby. I displayed him in it on the blog when he was 2 months old and now I have put it on Cora Grace. She loved the photo shoot despite being really really ready for a bottle. I'm so glad I have such happy babies that love lizard outfits and being photographed. :)

maybe my favorite of the bunch.. how to choose?

uuuUGH!! look at these, cheeks, the eyes, mouth!
i might eat her for dinner tonight. lizard stew... mmm. :)

And then, here are a couple extra cuties from this morning before the wardrobe change.

Here is the Deja Vu, Evan wore this at 2 months old also. I guess everyone can look cute in the same outfit. :)

or go to my old posts in 2008, "2 months old"

He asked for it :)

Here he is everyone, the man of the house that you rarely see on the blog. He took a self portait when I wasn't looking. He should have known I would blackmail blog about it so I hope he's happy with the picture he took. I love it. ;)

photos of the week

BUBBLES!!!

Michael was a little sad about this... ha ha ha (serif you inspired evan!)

my sister ashley better love C.G.'s shirt, it is adorable and she's pretty cute too. he he he

So strong! She's been doing this for weeks but getting better at it. I think Evan's presence inspires her to be strong like him at this age. She's been standing a lot this week (something Evan was born to do but that was abnormal. ha ha ha).

I love the new camera! Even tears look like they're in High Def. ha ha ha... poor guy, life is so hard these days. I just want to kiss him all over his sad face.

FRIDAY 5's

This weeks Friday Five is...
5 Things You Miss About Being A Kid!

1. Daydreaming! I loved laying on the trampoline and staring at the sky and clouds just thinking about nothing or something. Just thinking about it puts me right back there. :)

2. Being carefree and having no worries.

3. Running home from the bus to watch The Jetsons, my favorite.

4. My mom letting me skip school once in awhile, cause I needed it. Thanks mom. xoxo

5. Playing with my bros on the Trampoline and dolling up my sisters with hair and make-up :)

ok folks, time to fess up :)

I have been neglecting my blog for the last few weeks and I'm ready to confess. I've been taking some amazing new pictures with my new friend...

I know I just put it on my wish list that I'd like a nice camera like unto this one. I had no idea it was so close in my future but after blogging about it, Mike reminded me of a generous Wal Mart Christmas gift card that he's been hanging onto that we could put towards a camera. Well, let me just say, we owned it within 2 days and I'm so excited to learn how to use it and start sharing some amazing pictures and making photographic memories...
I didn't know how to turn the flash off so I had to go outside and with C.G. in pouch, I snapped one of her.

I love the detail of the grass in his hand. I'm so excited to get to

Vroooooooommmmm.

Longer summer if you see your shadow on the fence? Hmmm (look at that pot belly, he he he)

Our wonderful visitor from Virginia (taken by MDS), 'Aunt' Loretta/LoLo. We love you! xoxo

Our friend Lauren came with Loretta and somehow got Cora Grace to look right at the camera. Good job Lauren! ;)

Taken by Daddy!

learning how to use "ISO", with a fast moving kid as a subject, lol.

I couldn't help myself. I laid her on the floor of her play gym (i love it! target, online, Infantino) for some tummy time while I got Evan in his high chair and give him his dinner. When I came back, this is what I found. :( cute but I was totally looking forward to some mommy and me time. Oh well, later then...

She really doesn't mind the Bumbo seat but spits up if it's right after she eats. I try to remember that. I love her faces she makes!

Ok, I put her in this cutest of cute outfits today AND finally figured out how to put those bows in her hair (i used Karo syrup). She was such a model. The TINY bit of information that I've learned about the camera, has helped me get these MUCH better shots. On this day, my biggest triumph... learning how to turn the flash off. {bows to the crowd, bows to the crowd} LMBO

Such a model. Trying to look coy.

A 'helper'. riiiiight.

Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how much I LOVE this picture! It kinda reminds me of the board game 'clue' where the characters are in various forms of foreground and background. My favorite part of course, is the fact that C.G. is following her big brother everywhere he goes... and I caught her in the act. ahhh :)

Squishy smile!

Chillin' by the tree.

Hey guys!

Evan showing Cora and I, "mouth".

"I think I like you... nah... I love you"

"Ahhhh, Wah".

This was shot in between tears for making him stay there till I took a good picture of him. LOL. ;) I am such a mean mommy. lol
So there you go folks, we got a new camera and I've been trying to learn it, upload the pictures and find time to blog. I made the time tonight, I hope you enjoyed the pictures and updates. (also 2 month pics were taken with new camera)

So sweet

I just realized today that her giraff's head slowly moves while it plays the Lullabye. Look how sweet this little video is. :) night night...

In Memory

For my church friends familiar with the Childrens Hymn "Latter-day Prophets", it was written by a woman in my home ward in Thousand Oaks California named Cynthia (Lord) Pace. She was called home to our Heavenly Father this week. I know she was a choice daughter of God in Heaven as it showed in her relationship with her husband and how she raised and influenced her children. I am grateful I knew her and get to see her legacy live through her children and grandchildren.
I loved the song she wrote as a child through adulthood. I always enjoyed her children and watching them grow up. Her husband was my bishop for a time (currently stake president in a neighboring stake) and their family has always lived a Christlike life and emulated him in their good deeds. She will be missed. I have been singing the song she wrote this week, in rememberance and in honor of the testimony she bore through it. Here it is for anyone interested in refreshing their memory.

Hair cut time

No not me, evan. Poor guy's been walking around for two months with the worst hack job haircut I've ever given him. Peace is restored he looks like a cutie again. I also threw in a sweet shot of me waving at all of you then of course the pic where I make evan earn his hair cut by sweeping :).

2 Months Old

C.G. and dolly :)

I don't know why this picture is showing sideways but I want it on here so there you go. :)

Little Cora Grace is 2 Months old today and is so great! She gave me tons and tons of smiles today to make my morning so of course we had to do a photo shoot (only she didn't exactly smile for those, opps. lol). Tomorrow is her Dr. appointment and I'm so excited to see what she weighs and how much taller she is and etc. We just love our little girl and are feeling so blessed that her health is so good and she is happy. xoxo
ammended* 8/2/10 Cora Grace weighs a healthy 10.8 pounds and is now 21 1/2 inches long. Dr. Coleman was happy to see Evan and C.G. and we look forward to seeing her in 2 months again for Evan's 2 YEAR!!! and C.G.'s 4 month. Oh, and she got 2 shots today and did not like them but is doing better now and sleeping thankfully. Evan was concerned about her when she started crying. Our friend Lauren works at the office and came to say hello! It made us feel special :).
